About the Practitioner

I was born and raised in Japan, in a prefecture known for producing beautiful pears in early fall. Being raised in a family of four generations living together taught me the essence of touch at an early age.

Growing up, I had many opportunities to give and receive massage and bodywork, especially Shiatsu, which was done often within my family. I also started to receive acupuncture treatment from a blind practitioner when I was 9 years old. It was a profound experience and it is one of the most unforgettable moments of my life to this day. It felt so good!

Acupuncture and massage have been helping me to pause, restore balance, and gather strength to move forward ever since. They always remind me where I came from, and help me to be the best I can be at where I am now.

I studied and received training in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (Texas Health and Science University) and Massage Therapy (The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School) here in the United States. I am board-certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, and I am a licensed massage therapist and massage therapy instructor in the state of Texas.

Throughout many years of learning, I have met wonderful teachers, instructors, colleagues who shared their knowledge and wisdom. I am committed to care for and serve this community to show my gratitude to those who supported me.

Thank you for finding me here. I look forward to seeing you soon.
