Kazuko DeVirgilio, LMT, MTI was born and raised in Japan. Growing up with four generations of her family under one roof taught her the essence of touch at an early age.
She has been practicing massage therapy since 2006 after graduating from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. She is trained in Swedish massage, Sports massage, Deep Massage, Structure bodywork, and Shiatsu. She has also completed over 200 hrs. Advanced Clinical Training with focus on Orthopedic massage.
She completed the oncology massage training with Tracy Walton and associates in 2013, and attended Integrative Oncology Training Conference at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2014. She also attended Oncology Massage training with Tague Consultant in 2015 and 2016 as an interpreter in Kyoto, Japan. She is a member of Oncology Massage Alliance in Austin, and visit infusion center to provide hand and foot massage to cancer patients weekly.
The goal of each session is to promote deep relaxation in the clients' body and mind to enhance their body's ability to heal itself.
She is a core faculty member at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage Schcool since 2010.
